Easter Egg Hunt in Hudson!
More than 100 people attended the Kids FunFest Easter Egg Hunt on April 4 at the Hudson Fire Hall and Outdoor Rink.
Michael Scott and his wife Ashley Cameron coordinated the event as representatives of the Hudson Planning Committee and Hudson Parents Group.
“It was very well received by the community at large,” Scott shared. “We had people from Sioux Lookout, Hudson, and Lac Seul First Nation.” “We had positive reviews from those that came out and took part,” he added.
Easter Eggs were also hidden along the trail to Mud Lake where a StoryWalk, “Happy Easter, Little Critter” by Mercer Mayer, had been set up by the Sioux Lookout Public Library.
Scott shared, “I would like to take a moment to thank all the wonderful supporters who came out and helped make this such an amazing event here in Hudson. Thank you to: Hudson DropIn Centre for donating the baskets and bunny ears, Town of Sioux Lookout Recreation Department for the use of the outdoor rink, Hudson Individuals: Kathy S, Krista S, Leanne T, Kennedy R, Dorothy B, Robert P, Amanda P, Noah P, Patricia R, Susan G – Sister Sue Bakery & partner Lisa M, Sheila B, and family and my wife, Ashley C.
