Community Corner
Drug Awareness Walk
On Monday, June 9, 2025, the Lac Seul Police Service organized a Drug Awareness Walk which was held in the Community of Kejick Bay.
Social Navigator Dave Scott and Mental Health Crisis Response Member Tracy Chevrier shared the importance and the need for Drug Awareness for the Community as there has been an increase in Drug Activity within the communities of Lac Seul.
Tracy presented the safe needle disposal kit and display of dangerous drugs out on the streets.
Education brochures were created to explain the drugs that are being added to the common street drugs to reduce the risk of overdose.
Thanks go out to Lac Seul Chief Clifford Bull, Police Board Chair Lorraine Kejick, and Chief of Police Bruno Rossi. The event was well attended, and the Police Service are planning the next Drug Awareness Walk for the other communities of Lac Seul.
