Sioux North High School 2025 Athletic Awards

Sioux Lookout Bombers Head Coach Carson Johnstone was the special guest speaker at this year’s Sioux North High School (SNHS) Athletic Awards banquet, which was held on June 12, in the school’s gymnasium.
Johnstone spoke about his career as an athlete and coach, overcoming challenges, and capitalizing on opportunities.
SNHS Athletic Director Jason MacMillan told those gathered, “We had an exciting year for Sioux North Athletics. NorWOSSA titles in Junior Girls Basketball and Senior Boys Basketball. NWOSSA trips for Senior Boys basketball, Track and Field and multiple badminton teams . OFSAA for our wrestlers, badminton doubles teams and track and field. We capped the year off with strong results from our revived soccer programs.
“Today, I feel truly privileged and honored to stand before you and celebrate the remarkable achievements of our outstanding students — individuals who have made both Sioux North High School and their families incredibly proud.”
