Question of the Week:
During the provincial stay-at-home order, The Sioux Lookout Bulletin has been looking for Your Perspective online.
Do you think the Ontario Government should reopen any of the following: outdoor sports facilities such as golf courses, tennis courts, basketball courts, skate parks, baseball diamonds, soccer fields and other multi-use fields, picnic sites and picnic tables?
Absolutely. The outdoors is the best mental health relief going. Overnight camping, guided fishing, canoe trips, group kayaking, archery and firearms ranges, golf, tennis, skate park, baseball, all of it. We need to be able to enjoy more than solitary walks and being caged in our homes. Not healthy for long terms like this.

COVID’s on the rise in your area. Masks and social distancing is essential. Everybody should get their vaccines too. Get the majority of people vaccinated and it becomes safer for everybody except those who aren’t vaccinated of course.
Of course, as long as people can participate in the activities safely, with some distance, no large crowds, the benefits outweigh the risks. ON government should follow its plan from after the first big lockdown, which is to treat each region appropriate to the risk. Use the science. Outside is the best place to be.
Well that depends on how well us humans behave. If we were smart and ‘towed the line’ they’d stay open! A few that don’t.....well then they close.
Open everything and allow people to freely choose when and where to go along with how they would like to protect themselves. Every job is essential.
Open up everything, time to move on past this. Anything outdoors is good for the mind and should
For the past few days, there have been people playing ball at the ball diamonds and kids have been playing in the skate park.
Yes I do think all outdoor sports facilities should be opened. Fresh air and physical activity is good for mental health.
Yes it’s time!!!!

No, not as long as COVID is not over.
Of course we’re a small town and people need this essential living.
Yes! Loved seeing the families out on the ball diamonds, out walking, and enjoying the fresh air.
Yes. Fresh air, and open spaces are good for everyone.

Why not open it up? People need activity to stay in shape plus mental health.
Yes open it all up....it’s time to move on.
