Pic of the Past

In 1937 my grandfather/Starratt Airways took a late spring contract to move 10,000 cords of timber, from north of Sioux to the CNR siding in town, before spring breakup.  The truck pictured carried a load of wood while pulling three loaded sleighs but needed help from the tractor to ascend the hill behind it.
