One goal game

It was a goaltenders’ duel on Jan. 20 at the Hangar (Sioux Lookout Memorial Arena) as the Sioux Lookout Bombers faced off against the visiting Dryden GM Ice Dogs.
In net for the Ice Dogs, Carsten Komorowski. In net for the Bombers, Nick Webb.
Noah Tenney scored for the Ice Dogs at 17:38 in the first period.
That goal held up as the game winner through two more closely played, fast paced periods, giving the Ice Dogs the 1-0 victory.
Komorowski picked up the shutout for the Ice Dogs, stopping all 23 shots he faced.
Webb stopped 29 of the 30 shots he faced for the Bombers.
The Bombers take on the Kam River Fighting Walleye in a two game series Jan. 30 and 31.
Puck drop for both games will be at 7 p.m.
