Scott Vernon Wiseman

It is with great sadness that we announce Scott’s passing peacefully, on October 12, 2024.  Scott passed away with his devoted companion Puppy Cohl by his side. 

He leaves behind his wife & partner Linda Wiseman of 35 years. He was a devoted & loving father to Alyssa Brooke (Michael Hay) and Zachary Jarrod (Elliot Garcia).  He will be sadly missed by his mother Vera Wiseman and mother-in-law Barbara McLay. He was predeceased by his father Edward (Ted) Wiseman and his father-in-law William (Bill) McLay. 

He leaves behind his sister Beverly Hicke, Niece Erin (Jarett Caan), Nephew Matthew Hicke (Alyssa), Sister-in-Law Shelly (Jamie Hanlon), Nephews Josh Hanlon (Brooke), Jake Hanlon & Niece Zoe Hanlon, Sister-in-law Diane McLay (Gary Grant) numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Friends, Hunting~Fishing Buddies & his MNR family.

Scott was passionate about many things in his life; his family & friends, the OMNR Fire Program that he worked at for 36 years, hunting, fishing and the outdoors. 

In keeping with Scott’s wishes there will be no funeral service. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Meno Ya Win MRI Fund at SLMHC Foundation, PO Box 909, Sioux Lookout ON P8T1B4 or a charity of your choice.
