Titanic And Sioux Lookout

Sioux Lookout has historical ties to the infamous ship called the Titanic. Charles Melville Hays, the founder of Grand Trunk Railways, ordered the C.N connection from Armstrong to Sioux Lookout to connect up with his railway. Mr Hays is the reason why this town is where it is. I am in favour of renaming the street where the Train Station is to Charles M. Hays Street. He could’ve used his money and prestige to board a lifeboat but sacrificed his fame and fortune to help the poorer passengers. The world would be a better place if more people were like him.
