An update from the Sioux Lookout Food Bank

We’re in the final stretch of fundraising for the Sioux Lookout Food Bank’s new facility. There’s only $99,775 left to raise. Please give if you can.
What started in 2024 with the purchase of land with generous donations from the community, continued in 2025 with excavation of the lot, and will be completed this year with construction and moving into our new building! 
The new facility will have a much larger, more functional layout so we can serve our neighbours with greater dignity. We’ll use the “Shopping Model” so clients will select items they need from our shelves rather than the “Hamper Model” we currently use now, where clients are given a pre-packed hamper of food based on their household size.
