Big Vermilion creel census an intense project
Brad Bowen has been trekking around Big Vermilion Lake three times a week since January. He’s conducting a creel census of the lake trout population in the lake for the Ministry of Natural Resources.
Early Literacy program a success at Hudson School
The Keewatin-Patricia teachers for literacy believe that language is made up of four parts – reading, writing, listening and speaking. Hudson School realizes the importance of language and started an early literacy program last year for students from junior kindergarten to grade three.
