Appliance repair training 

Eleven trainees, representing seven area First Nation communities, earned Appliance Repair Training Program certificates on July 24 through a training program offered by the Sioux Lookout Area Aboriginal Management Board (SLAAMB) through the Harvester Support Grant Program.
The trainees received training in the repair of appliances such as washers, dryers, stoves, fridges, microwaves, and dishwashers from instructors from MLRH Repair in Dryden.
Certificates for completing the training went to Nathaniel Anderson - Kasabonika Lake First Nation, Mariah Anderson-Mekanak - Kasabonika Lake First Nation, Marcel Beardy -  Bearskin Lake First Nation, Johnny Fiddler - Keewaywin First Nation, Stanley Fiddler - Keewaywin First Nation, Kiefer Fox - Bearskin Lake First Nation, Ryan Kakekaspan - Fort Severn First Nation, Kaleb Meekis - Sandy Lake First Nation, Samuel Sakakeep - Weagamow Lake First Nation, Dany Winter - Sachigo Lake First Nation, and Dante Winter - Sachigo Lake First Nation.
