A day to listen
Dick MacKenzie - www.dickshideaway.comThese daisies in the yard caught my eye and begged for a picture. For a brief moment they brought to life warm memories of my mom and dad. It was a pleasant dream on a sunny, warm afternoon.
Later, the same two beauties waving in a breeze reminded me of other lost friends. Pleasant dreams in a cloud of solitude.
By mid afternoon I was smiling as thoughts of special people in my life rode the petals, leading me down a path of happiness, feeling the pleasure of friendships well done.
Flowers can blossom great cheer, balanced on a slender stem, whispering gently, and today was my day to be listening.
