Tonnes of waste collected at Municipal Hazardous or Special Waste Collection event
A total of 94 vehicles participated in this year’s Municipal Hazardous or Special Waste Collection event on September 23 at the Public Works Garage.
The event provided local residents with an opportunity to dispose of residential household hazardous waste items free of charge.
A total of 8.89 tonnes of waste was collected at the event.
