With slide projectors becoming more and more outdated, the Sioux Lookout Public Library offered a tutorial with a modern twist. On August 12, in the media room at the library, Laine Helbling led a class on how to use a smartphone to create a projector.

Another successful Home, Trade, and Craft Show is in the book for the 35th year. The Sioux Lookout Memorial Arena was filled to capacity with both local and out of town vendors. The trade show ran Thursday afternoon and most of the day Friday.
