Obituary - Tyler Martin Roy
September 23, 1992 - January 13, 2018
In loving memory of Tyler Roy who passed away suddenly in Toronto, Ontario on January 13, 2018 at the age of 25. Tyler was born in Sioux Lookout, Ontario on September 23, 1992. He later moved to Novar, Ontario twelve years ago with his family. Growing up Tyler was always scheming, sometimes alone and sometimes he brought his brother Linden along for the ride. More times than not their sister Rochelle got the short end of the stick. Tyler lit up a room with his smile and laugh. He had a great sense of humour, always trying to make people laugh or shocking them with his choice of wardrobe. Tyler had a love for hockey. By the age of 5 years he would wake up at 6 a.m. to watch hockey highlights. He went on to play hockey for many years. In 2008 he was the captain of the Huntsville Otters, leading them to win the International Silver Stick. Tyler had a great love for learning. He was incredibly brilliant and could debate on any topic and win. Tyler had a great heart and enjoyed life. When he smiled, his eyes smiled. He will always be loved and never be forgotten. Tyler leaves behind his parents Martin and Lisa Roy, his brother Linden and his sister Rochelle. His Grandparents Ted and Gail Roy, Charlotte Watkinson, Len and Florence Watkinson and Alex Kuzmeluk and numerous cousins and friends.
