Book Giving Program @ Your Library
Wouldn’t it be great to find a unique gift for someone special and help your local public library?
Each month, the Sioux Lookout Public Library will release a list of new books that are ready for the shelf. The current list of books is only available until June 5. You can choose one of these books (or more) to give as a gift. Your donation to the Sioux Lookout Public Library is eligible for a tax donation receipt. The library will place a bookplate (personalized dedication) inside the book to acknowledge your donation. You are responsible for gift-wrapping. The person who receives the gift has three weeks to read and return to the library.
You can also suggest a book for the library to order. We want to build a collection that reflects the unique needs of our community. Please visit the library’s website at slpl.on.ca/bookgiving to see if your gift idea is not already part of the library's collection. If we do not have your gift idea, we will consider adding it to our collection.
Donors have the option of visiting the library to see the available titles or viewing an online gallery on our website: slpl.on.ca/bookgiving.
